Pele knew a little bit about soccer. But he also gives us a great recipe for being successful at anything. Just think of his quote as a weekly checklist and devote time to each area:
- Hard Work: are you putting in the time?
- Perseverance: are you sticking with it even in the face of failure and roadblocks?
- Learning: are you staying open to new ideas and perspectives and not just relying on your own?
- Studying: are you constantly getting smarter about your industry, your clients, your market, your competition?
- Sacrifice: are you giving up something (comfort, time, sweat, money) to move the needle?
